This Sunday a bunch of us – Orisue’s Allen Doan, who was in town from the west coast with his girlfriend, Upi; our marketing princess Gio; her man Jon from Hot Pink Delorean; ladies’ buyer Jasmine; men’s buyer Holland; grassroots marketeer and Disney Mouseketeer Dennis the Kid; the ever flamboyant Jose O. President and CEO of Mindrite Industries, Kloop CEO Gregory Elliott Selkoe and I – went to spooky Salem for a visit to the Peabody Essex Museum and some witchy encounters! Crazy palm readers, magical ointments, powerful medallions, kettle corn, caramel apples, cotton candy, haunted houses, Boogedy Boo and an awesome Carnifair (with RIDES!) all made for a fun and long day.

I recently came back from Sin City with the girls, and i’m still catching up on sleep. It was my first time…flying to Vegas. And you know what the means!? Lots and lots to do in only four nights. We hit up plenty of clubs, Tao being my favorite, partly because of the zen decor and mainly because of the VIP table invite (VIP table = place to sit and rest my feet). We checked out the Playboy Club where I snapped a photo in my Blaque Label Dress, and we hit up Body English at Hard Rock with Clinton Sparks, a close friend of the Karmaloop fam. I wore my Fiona Dress by *NYC Boutique, keeping the theme of black and white for the weekend. Finally, I watched Criss Angel, the ultimate “Mind Freak”! (questionable) and Cirque Du Soleil’s “O”. Vegas, i will be back!
xoxo

Dina here reporting from Concord! Saturday Jasmine, 80%20′s Katharine S., my boy and I went to Concord, MA for some colonial history, brisk New England fall weather and ice cream sundaes! Now, you may know Katharine from the Saddam mask she’s always wearin’, but did you know that she also hates eye patches, loves lemonade and French, or kind of French, dudes?
Check out Jasmine in her Beanie from Coal, Zigi Boots and super-cutie Hellz Bellz jacket (sorry, sold out!!), the man in his Obey sweater (sorry, for boys!!), Katharine with her Hello Kitty Patent Bag by Loungefly.

Greetings from Positano! Dina here, your former ladies’ buyer and, now, Karmaloop foreign correspondent and general man about town. I am here having a lovely vacation and putting my Karmaloop threads (and shoes!) to good use. We were in Rome first and came to Positano by car – it was an easy ride except that after the first few miles of the winding Amalfi Coast road (beware of careening off the side of the cliff!), one does become quite car sick. Our hotel here is awesome, full of quirky antiques collected by the founder since it’s, well, founding in 1951. The weather is beautimous, the views are amazing, the doggies are barking and the food is magnificent!
Ok, so, I’ve been on quite the dress tear this week. I have literally worn a dress every day since Saturday, and though not every single one is from Karmaloop, i’ve had great success with a bunch, namely: The Prospect Shirtdress from Heartloom, which happens to be on sale! Somehow, it seemed perfect for Rome – being all clean, crisp and ladylike, and it went well with a pair of nude Seychelles ballet flats I got off the site last year.

In fact, I’m kind of obsessed with flats too, though I suppose that isn’t surprising given we’re walking around all day long – speaking of, we had an AMAZING, private tour with a Roman art historian for 5 1/2 hours! Ok back to flats- my favorite ones these days are navy leather Lanvins with flat bows on the front- not from Karmaloop, but even I mix it up once in a while! And, now back to the dresses – also on my back this trip: The Last Dance Dress from Obey, which is cool cuz it has an almost tutu-like silhouette, and The Naive Fantasy Dress from Insight, which is long gone, but was in the same pretty print as The Flowing Cosmo Top, and I’ll be wearing the Rojas Chiffon Blossom One Shoulder Dress (no flats here!) to dinner tonight. Finally, I will be making use of one of the 2 Motel Dresses I have with me – (they are The Linda Dress in a rose pattern and The Phoebe Dress also in a rose pattern…. ok, admittedly these latter show a lack of inclination towards floral variety on my part) and finally! and definitely! my Quinn One Shoulder Dress from Blaque Label, which I think is the perfect having lunch on the-terrace overlooking-the-sea type of dress.
Ciao!
