Valentine’s Day is on it’s way…
I wish I were seven again, back in the first grade, when everyone was my Valentine. You’d pass around cards that read “Be Mine”, with a lollipop or some candy hearts taped to the back. Everyone got one, so there was no stress to come with Valentine’s day. Just lots of love from all your classmates, and a break from learning “Hooked on Phonics.”
Well those days are gone now, but gift giving can still be fun and not so costly…here are some Valentine’s inspired gift ideas that will cost a bit more than a Hallmark card, but still won’t break the bank.

1) The Padded One Shoulder Dress in Geometric Print by Brian Lichtenberg
2) The Carry Boot by Jeffrey Campbell
3) The Gain Crushable Felt Fedora by Brixton

So this is random but I watched Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome the other night and it kind of inspired my wishmas list!!! For those who don’t know about this flick it’s definitely from the 80′s and it definitely stars Tina Turner and Mel Gibson…Random combination but they wreck shit. So anyways, Mel wears these hot leather boots that I know I could pull off better than him…Dare him to challenge me. His boots are similar but nowhere near as sexxy as The Carry Boot by Jeffrey Campbell so yeah I need these under my tree. My girl Tina kills it (literally) in this high shouldered dress that made me crave shoulder pads, is that weird?…A shoulder pad craving? Anyways, The Padded One Shoulder Dress in Geometric Print is so perfect for any holiday party and the shoulder pads are to die for! Oh yeah…and if you love me you’ll get me The Gain Crushable Felt Fedora in Black by Brixton to complete my list!

1) The Obscene Boot By Jeffrey Campbell Shoes
2) The Russia Pom Pom Hat By deLux
3) The Husky Coat in Leopard By Motel

I am a Valley Girl for life!..but since I now reside on the east coast I need to stock up on some warmer apparel this Holiday. So, I am a big believer of staying cute outdoors even though the weather looks like crap. Some things I must have for Christmas is the The Husky Coat in Leopard Jacket By Motel, which looks vintage and it’s affordable! I am in love with the The Russia Pom Pom Hat By deLux, once again vintage feel and I will be rocking this indoors and out. And, I will stop breathing if I don’t get The Obscene Boots By Jeffrey Campbell. These boots look like they will get me through rain, sleet, and snow.

1) The Silver Dress in Vintage White by RVCA
2) The Wildfox Love Potion Baggy Beach Jumper by Wildfox
3) The Cherrio Lace Up Bootie in Black by Seychelles

Although I’m a Boston native, I think I’m a Cali girl at heart. I hate the cold, but snowboarding and Christmas presents are the only things that get me through the east coast winter. I’m hoping for some California girl looks like the The Cherrio Lace Up Bootie in Black by Seychelles, The Wildfox Love Potion Baggy Beach Jumper by Wildfox, and The Silver Dress in Vintage White by RVCA.

1. The 1460 8 Eye Boot in Black and Gold by Dr. Martens
2. The Rue De Louvre Jacket by Obey
3. The Holidaze Leggings in Black by Hellz Bellz

This Holiday, I’m digging more masculine-inspired styles and trends. The 1460 8 Eye Boot in Black and Gold by Dr. Martens is a classic leather combat boot with a beautiful gold floral print. Sturdy for the snow and super stylish, these boots are a definite must-have. The Rue De Louvre Jacket by Obey also has a military style – a mid-weight hooded jacket in a great deep army color. You can never own too many leggings, especially since they are a fantastic substitute for pants or jeans, so The Holidaze Leggings in Black by Hellz Bellz are a great pick. In an allover festive print, these high-waisted leggings are trendy and cool.

1) The Piper Large Hobo By Deux Lux
2) The Jealous Lover Hooded Bomber by Obey
3) The Tassle Trinny Dress by Motel

Black may be basic, but it should never be boring! I like to mix and match textures and patterns to create unique looks. The Tassle Trinny Dress by Motel is perfect for a holiday cocktail party, while The Jealous Lover Hooded Bomber by Obey is guaranteed to keep me toasty. I like to add a splash of color with The Piper Hobo by new brand Deux Lux.

1) The Beaded Bow Necklace in Silver By Rojas
2) The Barbara Lace Tunic in Black By BB Dakota
3) The Austria Lace Back Boot By Jeffrey Campbell Shoes

I am all about the vampy look this season. Loose and lacey tops are a prefect mix between goth and feminine, such as the Babara Lace Tunic by BB Dakota. Jeffrey Campbell’s Austria lace boot makes a serious statement and Rojas is killing it with their festive accessories.
