Splurge Vs. Save: The Black Lace-Up Bootie

Despite the somewhat frightening evidence of global warming (it’s late November and still hovers at around 50 degrees here in Boston) winter and the frigid weather that comes with it is inevitable! Time to shove your open toe booties under the bed with those gladiator sandals–the ones that you HAD to have but will probably never wear again and break out a few pairs of heels that are a little more sock-friendly.  This pair by Givenchy is rad, but not so practical for chilly weather.  Cop a pair of lace-up booties by Seychelles for a bit more warmth without compromising style!
